Precise measurements on the construction site and the correct calculation of the final top edge of the floor are the starting point for every staircase design. A technically trained salesperson carries this out using the latest laser technology. Until recently, this person passed the data on to technical draughtsmen who produced a design and a quotation.
Today, we take it to the next level. The measurement data is entered into GPD, allowing customers to make the choice directly with the salesperson. They can opt for an automatically generated staircase. Once the order has been successfully placed, the production data is automatically generated by the GPD system.
Even though the art of glassmaking can't - and shouldn't - be replaced by machines or robots, designs are customised for each customer to fit the context and meet their expectations and requirements.
Customers often request several options to choose from, as this product group is more of an emotional element of an interior than a technical-functional one.
The GPD system generates options quickly and cost-effectively, calculates prices and sends technically correct data to the production planning department.
